The tart-tasting barberry fruits, which\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan\u003eget their acidity from malic acid and other fruit acids, contain many vitamins, especially vitamin C. While in some countries barberries\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan\u003eare used to flavor dishes, in this country, barberry jams and dried barberries are the most common.
