Raspberry bushes are native to the forests of temperate Europe and have been known there since antiquity. In the Middle Ages, raspberries were cultivated in monasteries. Today, the red, soft berries also grow in North America and New Zealand, among other places. Dried raspberries enhance muesli, yogurt, quark, ice cream, desserts, and chocolate. Thanks to gentle processes like freeze-drying, our dried raspberries retain their aroma, color, nutrients, and texture.
