Peaches (dried without added sugar)

Peach trees, which belong to the rose family, originally come from China and now grow throughout temperate climates. The pale green or yellow peaches are often covered with a velvety fuzz, while the flesh is juicy and orange.

Peaches contain many minerals such as calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and iron, as well as provitamin A and vitamins B1, B2, and B3. Their incomparable, sweet flavor makes peaches one of the most tempting fruits. Gentle drying preserves these important flavor components and nutrients.
