Pomelo strips (dried)

Pomelo is similar in structure to lemon or grapefruit: Under the yellow-greenish surface of the pomelo is the tasty, light yellow to pinkish fruit flesh.

The sweet and sour taste of the pomelo is refreshing and invigorating, with the pleasant sweetness becoming more pronounced after drying. Pomelos are rich in vitamin C and therefore a great alternative to other citrus fruits. Dried pomelos taste excellent in muesli or quark, as a dessert, or as a refreshing snack.

Description: Dried pomelo peel in strips, sugared, sulfured

Ingredients: 52.8% pomelo peel, 46% sugar, acidifier: citric acid, antioxidant: sulfur dioxide

Storage: cool (10-15°C), dry and dark

Appearance: semicircular, white stripes with a yellow-green border

Odor: characteristic, slightly acidic, without any foreign odor

Taste: bittersweet, sour, pomelo-like, no off-flavors

Consistency: dry, firm to the bite
